Happy Canyon is an appellation of only 500 acres within the Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara's warmest AVA. Sheltered from marine winds by a turn of the coastal mountain range, its inland climate is markedly warmer making it ideal for producing rich Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2009 Tommy Town Cabernet Sauvignon is perfectly aged with subtle spices and hints of caramel, vanilla and dark fruit on the nose.
The palate has refined flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and a slight touch of baking spice wound together with a good acidity to balance the fruit and tannins. The toasted oak from barrel aging is well integrated with a long, lingering finish.

The Podio vineyard first appears in 1467, when the Count Damiano granted land to his stewards for wine cultivation. He required that half of the grapes were to be property of the castle, but that all of the grapes from Podio were reserved for Count Damiano himself (“salvo et riservato vites Podii Serrae”).
Tenuta Carretta's Podio Nebbiolo has velvety tannins and simple elegance. Full of fruity aromas with traces of earthy notes such as mulberry, spices, black pepper and vanilla.

GINROSA is an ancient Italian aperitif created in 1885 by Annunziata Bournè, an important female philanthropist, using 100% organic herbs, roots, and juniper berries. GINROSA is the only 100% natural Italian Aperitif .
Today GinRosa is served in many specialty wine bars, restaurants, and gourmet stores. It has also been served since 1885 at the original historical bar called GINROSA situated in Milano Piazza San Babila.
The 25% alcohol content is ideal for its pleasantness and versatility, whether enjoyed alone over ice or as a cocktail.
This Valentine's Day enjoy a romantic Italian Spritz and imagine that you are relaxing at a café in Milan with GINROSA!
When it comes to cocktails and aperitifs, the Classic Italian Aperol Spritz recipe is one of the most requested by people looking for a refreshing drink to accompany appetizers before a meal.
The Paper Plane is a daring drink. With bourbon's sweetness, GINROSA's bitterness, and sour lemon, it hangs in the balance—like the perfectly aligned paper plane you always wanted to fold out of notebook paper but never quite mastered.
Easy to make and refreshingly bitter, the Negroni is said to have been invented in Florence by the dauntless Italian Count Camillo Negroni in the early 20th century.
While at Bar Casoni in Florence, he demanded that the bartender strengthen his favorite cocktail by replacing the usual soda water with gin.
To further differentiate the drink, the bartender also employed an orange peel rather than the typical lemon peel.
AHIA brought Santa to the Neighborhood to spread some holiday joy and celebrate our annual lighting of the Colorado Lagoon Trees.
This is a great video.
